FTL: Advanced Edition for iPad & PC releases April 3

Subset Games has announced a release date for FTL: Faster Than Light on iPad and the free FTL: Advanced Edition expansion. Both are set to deploy on April 3.

Current FTL owners will be prompted to download the expansion when the update is ready with Subset Games promising more details when the time arrives. Advanced Edition will include a Hard mode and a new robotic race among other new features.

The iOS version of FTL will require a second-generation iPad or newer and will be sold for $10 on the App Store. Subset Games emphasizes that the mobile version of FTL will be on par with the game's PC version, which released in 2012, and will also include the Advanced Edition content.
