Clash of Clans dev releases Boom Beach
Supercell, the developer of the popular free-to-play game Clash of Clans, has finally given a wide release to its follow-up Boom Beach.
Clash of Clans has consistently been among the top grossing games in the iOS App Store, and developer Supercell has now released its follow-up in the US. Boom Beach is available now on the App Store, and like its predecessor, it's free.
The app (via TouchArcade) bears some similarities to Clash of Clans in the strategic aspects, but it has a more modern setting. It's been available in Canada since November, as Supercell tweaked it to prepare for a worldwide release. That's finally come this week.
