The hack 'n' slash game boasts drop-in, drop-out co-op, with two players locally and up to four online. Together, you'll murder monsters and save a kingdom or something. Several classes are on offer, with upgradeable skills and weapons.

At launch, Sacred 3 will include the Malakhim class as well as the Underworld Story DLC. In Underworld, players have to forge their way to the top of a mysterious tower where they have to confront the Black Seraphim from Sacred 2.

Sacred 3 is headed towards PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Here's the new gameplay trailer:

I feel you. Sacred engrossed me for a long time just exploring. I enjoyed the feel of the game. Sacred 2 was laughable. I don't hold a lot of hope for this one, but I'll at least give the demo a try.

Deep Silver needs to get Sacred 2 running properly 1st. I've beat Sacred 1 and it's expansion. Then I moved to Sacred 2 then Sacred 2 Gold and still to this day I've never got the damn game to work (on PC). I thought about just buying it for my PS3 just to actually play it, but why should I have to do that? Especially if S2 Gold is supposed to run on Windows 7 PC's. I might try one more time whenever I decide to format and give Win8 a go, but even then I wanna just reinstall Win7.
