Diablo 3 gets 50% XP boost until March 24
Diablo 3 players on PC and Mac will get a 50% XP boost from now until March 24, the day before Reaper of Souls is released.
Diablo 3 is ready to continue its story later this month with the new Reaper of Souls expansion. Blizzard is now offering to help nephalem everywhere prepare for the next battle by offering a 50% XP boost that will last until March 24, just before the expansion's release the next day.
Blizzard also hopes the XP boost will help spread the word about Diablo 3's new 2.0.1 patch, which includes a number of new features. One of them is the updated Paragon Leveling System, which has had its cap removed entirely, complementing the XP boost nicely.
According to Battle.net, the XP boost is only available for those that own the PC and Mac versions of Diablo 3. If the XP boost has enticed you to jump back into the game, check out the video below to learn more about the new patch.

how disgusting that it took them this long to figure out how colossally they fucked up.
I was stupid enough to buy into the "subscribe to wow for 1 year, get d3 for free" and 1 week after actually being able to play it past release I uninstalled it for the laggy buggy and ugly mess mad me sick.
I really hope all the people buying the add-on are going to have their money worth and plenty of fun, I can't.-

While D3 was a bit of a let down straight out of the gate, this section of Blizzard has really worked to make the game a lot better since that point in time.
The patch last week did a lot for the game. Everything from the obvious loot problems being fixed to making the game a bit snappier and respond quicker overall. I feel that it is the closest D3 has ever been to feeling like D2 after the expansion.
Speaking of that... D2 was no walk in the park great either. It took about a year for D2 to find its groove and then it continued to live for another 10 years.
All in all, I feel the current staff working on D3 are doing an excellent job. -
