Promising the PC version will be a "good experience," the upcoming Windows version will boast higher-resolution graphics and support for 60 frames per second. Mouse and keyboard controls will also be offered.
The game will be distributed via Steam, but Bandai Namco also plans on releasing a retail collector's edition, which includes Black Armor Weapon DLC, a t-shirt, art book, and a cloth map.

Ahhh yeah that fucking sucks. Massive spoiler that makes it easy as fuck: If you kill them with fire they don't explode and toxic you. So a little pyromancy for the last bit of health and you're good. Or else just run past them while toxic'd, collect all the loot in that area, and run back. Open up the shortcut and you have a direct line to the boss that bypasses them all. Also you don't even have to fight that boss, and if you do you get indicted and can get invaded more often.

The first time I ever played, it took me like 30 hours of playtime to get to Anor Londo. I stepped away and came back to the game like a year later. That second time it took me under 15 hours to get there and it wasn't even like I was rushing. Once you know a lot of the early areas and game concepts, you will BLOW through it so much faster than your initial try.

A little over a month is nothing. They're doing this just to soak up console sales, the bulk of which happen after release day so I am okay with this. We've got THI4F now and Titanfall in March to tide us over. I look forward to seeing this game in glorious native 1080p and no FPS slowdowns like those in Blighttown. This game is going to rock and will probably be a GOTY contender.
I think this game could be a DLC goldmine for Namco and I hope they issue tons of DLC for it. Similar to Fallout and Skyrim, this game just gets better the more areas we have to explore and the more cool bosses we have to take down.
