Assassin's Creed 4 'Freedom Cry' DLC coming December 17
Assassin's Creed 4's "Freedom Cry" DLC will launch on December 17, according to a new advertisement.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has charted a course for its first major chunk of downloadable content. According to a new advertisement, the Freedom Cry DLC will launch on December 17.
The date comes from an ad in the January issue of Game Informer. The advertisement also promises 4+ hours of content, a bit more than the three hours we were told before. The DLC is set for all platforms except Wii U. The ad only mentions PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, which could mean the PC version is coming sometime later.
As previously reported, Freedom Cry stars Edward Kenway's quartermaster Adewale, a former slave, as he commands his own ship and sets out to free slaves himself. Freedom Cry is available in the AC4 Season Pass, which costs $20 by itself and also includes an exclusive ship and multiplayer mode characters. No price has been announced for Freedom Cry by itself.
