Surprising absolutely no one, TT Games and Warner Bros appear to be preparing another Lego game based on The Hobbit series of films. A teaser image was reportedly spotted in the new Lego Hobbit sets, promising a 2014 release.

Lego site BrickFan (via Eurogamer) reports that the back of the instruction booklet shows the image above, teasing a release for all major platforms: PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS. A release late next year would make it nicely align with the third and final Hobbit film, There and Back Again, which is due in December.

Lego Lord of the Rings was well-received last year, in particular for its open world and light RPG elements. This one would presumably follow the same mold, but with more awkward dwarf sing-alongs.
