IGN reports that the Ultimate Edition will include the six console downloadable characters: Zod, Batgirl, Lobo, Zatanna, and Martian Manhunter, along with the Scorpion cameo. It will also include 40 extra character skins, 60 STAR Labs missions, and the soundtrack. VG247 notes that Armature Studio is behind the Vita port, while High Voltage is handling the PS4 version.
The PlayStation 4 version has been remastered for the new console, and uses the system's social sharing and streaming features. It will use the DualShock's touchpad in some unmentioned way. The Vita version includes ad-hoc multiplayer and touch controls.
