The Obsidian-developed RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth finally has a release date. Originally scheduled for early this year, the game was delayed after THQ imploded. Ubisoft ended up buying the rights for the title, shelling out over $3 million for the acquisition.

The long wait for the game will finally be over come December 10th, when the game hits PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Of course, this being a triple-A game from Ubisoft, there are special editions to shell out for. All pre-orders will get the Ultimate Fellowship Pack, which adds four exclusive costumes that include special abilities.

There's also the $80 "Grand Wizard Edition," which adds a 6" Grand Wizard Cartman figure from Kidrobot, map of the Kingdom of South Park, and the aforementioned pre-order bonus.

Here's a new trailer for you to watch. And look, new screenshots too.

Actually, I haven't seen an episode I enjoyed in a long time. It seems to have gone the way of the Simpsons.

No way, they've been consistently funny throughout their entire run. Sure, a handful of episodes fall flat, but they're still turning out fantastic material.

Also how fast they do it makes it much more relevant than compared to the Simpsons which make you try to think of what they're trying to make fun of.
