Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call announced for 3DS
Square Enix has announced Theatrhythm: Curtain Call for 3DS, a follow-up to its Final-Fantasy-themed music game. It's due out in Japan in spring.
Following a trademark application last week, Square Enix has lifted the proverbial veil on Theatrhythm: Curtain Call. The sequel to the RPG-themed music game slated for release on 3DS in Japan next spring. No North American plans have been announced.
A recent issue of Japanese magazine Jump (via Tiny Cartridge) reports that it will feature more than 200 songs and 60 characters. Those songs include tracks from more recent and upcoming Final Fantasy games, like Final Fantasy 14 and Lightning Returns. It will also include a multiplayer "Versus Battle Mode," though the magazine doesn't seem to give details on what exactly that might be.
