Pokemon X & Y special edition 3DS XL systems announced

The launch of a new generation of Pokemon is always a big deal. So big, it needs TWO special edition XL systems.

The launch of a new generation of Pokemon is always a big deal. However, Pokemon X & Y promise to be an even bigger deal. It is the first mainline Pokemon game to run entirely in 3D after all. So, how do you commemorate a launch so big? By offering a special edition XL system, of course. Two special edition 3DS XL systems will be released on September 27th--before the launch of the games. For $199.99, you'll get your choice of either a red or blue system, each featuring the Legendary Pokemon Xerneas and Yveltal. Because the hardware comes out before the game, you'll have to buy a copy of X or Y separately.
