Titanfall trailer shows off 'Attrition'
Titanfall's latest trailer shows off the Attrition game mode, while also giving an idea of how story hooks will be weaved into the multiplayer matches.
Titanfall is forgoing a single-player campaign, instead weaving plot bits into the multiplayer sessions. A new trailer released today does double-duty, showing off the "Attrition" game mode and giving a general sense of how the story hooks will work.
The trailer from EA shows off militia forces venturing to Angel City in an attempt to bring in a hotshot pilot. But the militia is interrupted by the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation, and the two have to duke it out using a mixture of futuristic weaponry and big punchy robots. We won't spoil how it ends, but plenty of soldiers burst into bloody pulp, so you might say it doesn't go great for the militia boys.
