Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, PopCap's odd multiplayer shooter, will let you play as plants with three of your friends. It's quite fun. But wouldn't it be rad to play as the zombies too? Well, being a multiplayer shooter, that's exactly what PopCap is doing.

The studio also announced an exclusive mode for Xbox One owners. Boss Mode lets players play as either Dr. Zomboss or Crazy Dave. Using a tablet, you'll be able to get a better view of your forces and lets you drop bomb strikes. Being exclusive to Xbox One, it seems likely SmartGlass is involved somehow.

Garden Warfare is set to launch on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 in spring 2014, with additional platforms to follow afterwards.
