Shadowrun Berlin DLC delayed to become bigger
"Oh? So soon?" some wondered about Shadowrun Returns's Berlin DLC aiming for a late October launch. "So it's not that big, then?" Which set developer HareBrained Schemes a-thinking: why not? It's now delayed the DLC into January to make it bigger and richer.

"After listening to your forum discussions and feedback, it became clear that you would like to see something bigger (and so would we). So, we've decided to spend more time on Berlin to create an experience closer to the size of Dead Man's Switch," HBS said in a blog post. "A story of that scope will take longer, so we're targeting January for its release."
Plans for the campaign include more flexibility, letting players run missions in the order they please and for different factions, improvements to the Adept class, a new look reflecting the switch from Seattle, deeper NPCs, new weapons, outfits, and enemies.
HBS notes that it's also looking at patching in mid-mission manual saves, but faces technical hurdles it's not sure it'll be able to overcome.
