Perhaps due to its numerous delays, the Xbox 360 version of Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine hasn't fared particularly well. Developer Andy Schatz said that he was "disappointed" in sales via XBLA.

"I was never depending on the Xbox being our primary revenue generator, but I was very disappointed in Xbox sales nonetheless," Schatz said in his post. He did not go into further detail, feeling it better to keep specific complaints between himself, Microsoft, and publisher Majesco.

While the Xbox version may not have been worth it, Pocketwatch can now move onto a new platform. A Linux version of Monaco is currently in the works and is coming soon. The Mac version of the game launched earlier this month.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I'd be curious to know about his issues with Microsoft.

honestly the game is good but it's pretty visually difficult to get into for a casual player (I failed to convince my gf) and it's not mechanically robust enough to play singleplayer. I just went through the demo again last night with a friend who'd never played it and we had fun but I couldn't bring myself to buy it because I know it's completely different couch co op vs singleplayer, and it's at its best with 3-4 people which I'll never do.

I know the game got pushed back a week due to some sort of bug. I saw the ad on the front of my dashboard one night, and thought about buying it. I went to buy it the next day and found out it had been delayed by a week. I ended up buying something else, and honestly forgot the game existed.

Not surprising...the game got exactly 2 days of buzz. It released to a flurry of glowing critical reviews, and then completely disappeared from the radar. I don't remember a single thread on the Shack discussing it.
