Those of you jonesing for your next Dark Souls fix will have to settle in for a bit of a wait. Namco Bandai has confirmed that the next game in the notoriously difficult series will come sometime in March 2014. The date leaked out from pre-E3 materials as the show begins to kick off next week in Los Angeles.

All Games Beta reported a banner advertisement at the LA Convention Center as studios prepare for E3, and Namco Bandai later confirmed the time frame to Eurogamer.

New game directors Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura have commented that they want this game to be more understandable than previous games in the series, and that they will put more effort into the PC version. With release still almost a year away, they have plenty of time to polish those elements.
