Hardware: Shipbreakers trailer shows off first gameplay
The first gameplay trailer for Hardware: Shipbreakers provides a look at the ships and atmosphere.
Blackbird Interactive, the studio composed of several former Homeworld developers, has released the first trailer for it new RTS, Hardware: Shipbreakers. The video shows off a bit of the game in action, as it continues to ramp up for its beta test later this year.
For an RTS, though, this first look is a bit light on the strategy part. We get to see some ships pull a routine job, and then (very) briefly get attacked by enemy forces. It's all very routine until it's not. That makes this a tease in the purest sense of the word, but it does show off a bit of the game world and atmosphere. The beta is expected to begin in Q4, and you can sign up now through the official site.
