Reimagined Shadow Warrior coming from Hard Reset dev
Hard Reset developer Flying Wild Hog is making a new Shadow Warrior, the company has announced.
The 1997 game Shadow Warrior is primed for a comeback. Flying Wild Hog, developer of Hard Reset, announced the project and an official site shows a teaser image. Hotline Miami publisher Devolver Digital will be releasing the game.
Flying Wild Hog announced the project on Facebook, calling it a "total reimagining" of Shadow Warrior. The official site simply shows a teaser image (above) for the moment. For its part, Devolver Digital has been tweeting about the game in response to fans. Details are scant at the moment, but we'll update as more information becomes available.

Yeah. Flash forward ten years, though, and we have *both* Kamikaze pilots *and* Banzai rush troops in Call of Duty: World at War. I'm sure the intention there was not racism, either, just y'know. Japan were the bad guys in that war. To be fair, the Germans are painted WAY worse and unflinchingly brutal. Whether or not that was necessary (cuz y'know, Nazis) is up for debate, I'd imagine.

Hat switches on joysticks / control sticks used to be called "coolie hats". For obvious reasons, that's no longer the case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joystick#Hat_switch

Well, from the screenshots (I could be wrong...) but this looks like Hard Reset with a fresh coat of paint. Waves of mindless enemies, level after level.
Nothing against that but seriously it's been done many times before (i.e.: Serious Sam 1-12, Painkiller and all 10 of it's spinoffs...) more importantly, Hard Reset by these very same people (coinicidence? I think NOT)
