Nothing says America like big guns, Uncle Sam, and a bald eagle that launches rockets out of its claws. The only thing missing from the new "Commander in Chief edition" just announced for Saints Row 4 is apple pie land mines and baseball grenades.

Volition's pre-order bonus expands upon the game's over-the-top tone. The 'Merica gun is a combination of flamethrower, dubstep gun and rocket launcher, and the Screaming Eagle, beside launching talon missiles, gets a sonic screech to stun enemies. No sign of monkeys, however.

As is typical for many games nowadays, the special edition will be a free upgrade for pre-orders. The game comes out on August 20 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
