Angry Birds Trilogy coming to Wii, Wii U
Angry Birds Trilogy will be releasing for the Wii and Wii U sometime this year, Activision and Rovio have announced.
Activision and Rovio are continuing its unstoppable quest to put out Angry Birds on every platform imaginable. The companies announced today that Angry Birds Trilogy will come to the Wii and Wii U consoles sometime in 2013.
The announcement didn't mention what features might be in store for the Nintendo consoles. The game did take advantage of both the Kinect and Move, though, so it stands to reason that the Wii and Wii U would use the Wii remote movement and GamePad touch functionality, respectively.
"It was certainly satisfying to see Angry Birds gameplay adapt so well to other platforms in 2012," said Rovio's Petri Jarvilehto, in the announcement. "The features specific to the Wii U are very intriguing to us, so we’re excited to release this version to fans."
