As expected, Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations is moving from 3DS to more powerful platforms. The interquel is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on May 21, for $49.99. Digital versions will be available on PC and PS3 on launch day, while digital versions for Wii U and Xbox 360 will follow afterward.

According to Capcom, the upgraded versions will include HD visuals, a harder difficulty level, a new enemy, new Raid weapons and custom parts, and Hunk as a playable character in Raid mode. We quite enjoyed the early 3DS game. Here's a look at what it looked like on Nintendo's handheld:

That's unexpected, though it's a solid enough game. A bit repetitive, maybe, but I enjoyed it on the 3DS.

I might double dip on this but I'll wait for a steam sale.

For those that don't have a 3DS and a bad taste in your mouth from RE6, consider this a palate cleanser.

      Why?
Unless this game has been modified with the new control scheme and game mechanics. Ill pass. I already have it for my 3DS and I'm sick and tired of moving my digital avatar like if he/she where a truck.

Good! One less reason to buy a 3DS.

Uh...PS Vita version? Man, the industry must truly hate Sony's handheld, because that should have been a no-brainer for Capcom.
