The superhero fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us finally will be battling its way to consoles on April 16, publisher Warner Bros. has announced. It has also revealed a new special edition of the game with a arcade-style controller for fighting game aficionados who have an extra $150 lying around.
The Battle Edition will also come with three skins for Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman, based on their appearance in The New 52 comics series. These are the same skins that will show up in the Collector's Edition for the game, which has its own goodies and weighs in at $50 less. The Battle Edition's Fight Stick, only available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, offers adjustable illumination for the joystick and eight buttons, in case you don't like things too bright when you play the game in the dark.
The game, which will also be coming to Wii U, has an eclectic mix of superheroes and villains, with Batman nemesis Bane and Superman bald-pated bad guy Lex Luthor recently revealed.
