Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault hitting Vita in January
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is coming to PlayStation 3 on November 27 as planned, but the Vita version won't hit until January 2013.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is coming to PlayStation 3 on November 27, but despite its Cross-Buy status, the Vita version will be coming much later. Sony has announced that the portable title will be coming in January instead.
According to the PlayStation.Blog, although the Vita version has been delayed, the PlayStation 3 release is still on-track. No reason was given for the delay.
On the bright side, the first piece of DLC, the Mini-Boss Skin Pack, will be available for free if you buy the PS3 version. It includes skins for three bosses from throughout the Ratchet & Clank series. Given that Full Frontal is meant to be a part of the series' 10th anniversary celebrations, it makes sense to pay some homage with DLC.
The game will cost $19.99 when it launches on November 27, both at retail and as a downloadable title. Purchasing either version will give you the Vita version for free when it comes out.
