It can be hard to keep up with extra downloadable goodies in high-profile game releases these days, what with the platform- and retailer-exclusive bonuses, day one downloadable content, and so on. But if you're trying (futilely) to track down all the extra bits and baubles surrounding Assassin's Creed 3, prepare yourself for a dose of canned energy.

The "Sharpshooter" multiplayer character is available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 through the energy drink NOS. The NOS "Rewards Series" loyalty program lets you grab the unique blend of cowboy, sniper, and hobo before he's offered to the general public. The offer extends through January 31, so presumably the character will be made widely available sometime after that point. You can find a code on marked cans and enter it for a rewards point at the Web site. All it takes is one NOS Rewards point. And some of your dignity.
