Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn introduces Master Chief
Halo 4 is the most expensive game Microsoft's ever made, which isn't really surprising considering the surrounding marketing includes a feature-length live-action webseries with special effects up the wazoo. You can see more of the fruits of that big spending today, as fourth episode of Forward Unto Dawn is out now, introducing a real-life version of everyone's favourite chef, Petty Officer John-117.

As for the actual game Halo 4, the thing you'll play, that'll hit Xbox 360 on November 6. Three $10 DLC map packs are lined up, and you can get them all for $24.99 with a 'War Games Map Pass.'
Anyway, video:

How can these be so bad, when the source material is so good? I mean the openings to all of these with Cortona going mad is just perfect, but everything else is a bucket of meh. At least the chief looks good (even the delivery of his dialog is extremely flat). The choreography, story, editing, pacing, everything is just meh. YOU ARE THE LAST 4 PEOPLE ALIVE ON THE PLANET! WTF.

I got to visit the set of Forward Unto Dawn back in June and conduct a few interviews with the cast and crew. I put together this video about bringing the Master Chief to life in a live action series. If you're interested, here's the link:
