Have you ever expressed even vague interest in Family Guy in the presence of a relative who doesn't know you well or see you often? Have you ever expressed even vague interest in Family Guy in the presence of a relative who doesn't know you well or see you often? Congratulations, you're probably receiving Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse this holiday season. Activision quietly announced last week that it'll hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 20, the perfect time to appear on in-store displays and remind your loving relative that they still need to buy you a present. Then, today, Activision showed off a little of the multiplayer you won't want to play. Sorry. Activision's been very secretive about this game, keeping gameplay footage under wraps, which doesn't bode at all well. Still, now we have some new screenshots showing the "wild free-for-all Family Guy madness" of four-player split-screen. It'll pack team missions too, not to mention "plenty of unexpected gags and cameos at every turn." So practice your 'I love it!' face.

Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check it out. You know, like the Beastie Boys song. (This is a reference.)

I think Family Guy could work as a beat 'em up like The Simpsons beat 'em up...but I don't really see it working outside of that in my mind.
