Jet Set Radio for Vita delayed
It was supposed to come out today, but Jet Set Radio for Vita apparently hit some last-minute optimization snags. No word on when it will finally be released.
When a game makes our weekly release list, it is usually a done deal that it will be out. But Jet Set Radio for PlayStation Vita just had to buck that written-in-mud rule. Sega said it won't be out today as planned, with no word on just when it will be ready.
In a very short release, Sega said the game was delayed "due to necessary development optimizations," which of course could mean anything. A new release date announcement is coming "soon."
The HD version of the game was re-released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month. Sega had been looking into cross-play possibilities between the Vita and PS3 versions, but that appears to have gone by the wayside.
