Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC arrives today
Borderlands 2's fifth class, Gaige the Mechromancer, was slated to arrive next Tuesday as paid DLC but oh! She'll be available today. If you pre-ordered the FPS-RPG, or plan to cough up $10, you should be playing as her by the end of the day, but you can get a head start by planning your build on her newly-released skill tree.

Gaige's three trees cover a fair spread of play styles and ability levels. For newbies, the Best Friends Forever tree has lots of skills to generally help you out, not to mention a load of references to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
The second tree, Little Big Trouble, is a relatively straightforward affair buffing Gaige's elemental damage and her robot chum, but the third is an intriguing one. Ordered Chaos revolves around stacking 'Anarchy' bonuses by killing men and emptying magazines, which boosts your damage but messes with your accuracy. Anarchy can also explode men in mid-air, and buff up melee.
So then, which tree most tickles your fancy?

I thought second play through was better due to the difficulty ramping up. Play through one didn't really feel like a challenge but rather a warm up for PT2/2.5.
I a'm having a hard time with alts though if that is what you are referring to. I'm kind of power hungry and the destruction at lower levels I find lacking. About 15-20 is where the game/skills start to shine.

Yeah it seems like a great solo class since you get a tank pet and a bunch of self-only buffs.
The ordered chaos tree would get much better with other allies on the field, though. Ordered chaos should play sorta like a melee Zer0, but without the oh shit button. I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

It didn't happen to me, and it's claimed to be 'unrelated', but there is a current bug where your Badass Rank / Tokens / Skins and Heads can be zeroed at... random?
http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=150243
Been following that bug for the better part of two weeks and I'll admit it - I'm pretty miffed about it's continued existence and the lack of communication from Gearbox about it. My copy of BL2 has been gathering dust ever since the reports came in.
Probably never buying a Gearbox title on launch again. :x

why? it increases your damage, and skills further down use anarchy to do additional damage. Sure, smaller magazines mean quicker stack accumulation, but with my current commando character, I'm finding the better weapons currently already have small magazines (my best pistol has only 8 per clip and my best riffle has only 13 per clip). I'm assuming that if you go this route, you will be using pistols, shotguns, sniper, and rockets, but never SMGs as their clips are too large. I know it maxes at only 4% smaller, but 1 or 2 bullets smaller clip for 25% faster reload doesn't sound like a good trade to me. Especially for guns that use multiple bullets per shot.
