Oculus Rift VR to launch with playable Hawken
Adhesive Games has announced Hawken will be playable using the Oculus Rift device when dev kits go out in December, and for wider consumer audiences once it hits retail next year.
The free-to-play mech combat game Hawken and the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift have both caught some attention among the core games crowd, so it only makes sense that the two would join up. Developer Adhesive Games announced today that Hawken will be available to play using Oculus Rift once it launches.
Hawken will launch on December 12, and the Oculus Rift release date is still to be determined. Developers will get to try out Hawken on the device when OR dev kits go out sometime in December, and players of all stripes will get to try it out when the device launches next year.
