World of Warcraft 5.04 patch detailed
Blizzard has given a detailed outline of the World of Warcraft 5.0.4 patch to accompany Mists of Pandaria.
Blizzard is laying the groundwork for its next World of Warcraft expansion, Mists of Pandaria. Before you jump into a world of pandas, the game client will receive the 5.0.4 patch. The biggest changes come to classes and the new talent system, and there's plenty to check out.
The WoW Blog outlines the changes, going into great detail about many of the class changes. The new talent system lets you open up a new talent pane, showing Core Abilities for each class, along with a variety of new and old abilities. You'll have to make hard choices about which ones to equip, but you can always respec with a Tome of Clear Mind or a visit to your class trainer.
Other changes are coming to the Glyphs system, cooking, account-wide pets and mounts, a help system, and tweaks to its MMO roots. The full list of changes is pretty massive, and it's not even the full patch notes. We should expect some pretty major changes coming when the patch hits tomorrow.
Mists of Pandaria comes out on September 25.

This is actually it. I will not buy this WoW expansion. It's not enough to get me interested again. The time is finally here. I'm curious to see how well this sells, I've heard that once it's once again quality stuff, it's still basically the exact same quality stuff - just like all the previous expansions. There has to be a limit to how long people will keep going, just has to. :)
Don't get me wrong, this isn't to criticize the game - it's the best MMO of all times, and in the very least in my top 3 games of all time. But we're talking serious, ridiculous, inconceivable amounts of hours I've put into the game, plus all of my RL friends have quit already. I quit a few months after Cataclysm launched, as I have done after the last 3 expansions each, but I was certain the urge would surface again when another expansion hit. It hasn't, and at this point I'm sure it won't.
So long, WoW, looking forward to Titan what-ever-the-hell that might end up being.
