This is sad news. I too, like many, have been enjoying this game. Mainly the change of genre is nice (im fkn tired of elves and orcs), but does this mean subscription based MMO's are going the way of the dodo? in my experience F2P MMO support is balls, but other then Rift, or Eve what else is out there that will take my $15/month? (first one to mention wow gets a punch right in the nose)

I'm enjoying TSW so far, tried it during a free weekend promotion, liked it enough to buy on amazon.
The client or game is 17-23gb download (could put a few off!) a whopping 37gb installed. That's a lot of artwork & it definitely shows, I love the graphic style. My pc's several years old, E7400 dual 2.2ghz 4gb ram and a radeon 6670, and enjoying it so far on high detail, 25fps is fine for me.
Artwork & environment is great, monsters creepy, and that 37gb is a tantalising amount to explore!
As for learning curve comments, all the inventory keys etc are on 7, 8 of the manual and equipping's covered on page 14, I agree that some people think games should be simple enough to not need a manual - but have you tried EVE Online?
