Codemasters teased a while back that it was returning to Race Driver: Grid as part of its renewed focus on racing games, and now we have a bigger tease. Codies has released a teensy little trailer showing the Grid emblem with a big fat "2," hinting to expect a reveal on Wednesday, August 8.

Careful scrutiny of the teaser trailer leads us to believe that cars will return in this sequel to the car-driving game. Grid was released back in 2008 and not followed up since, but mention of its name still sparks happy memories for many amaxophiles.
