When is Grand Theft Auto 5 coming out? While Rockstar Games has been mum, it might not be as far away as you'd think. In fact, it appears viral marketing for the hotly anticipated open world game has already begun.
"The Epsilon Program," a fake religion featured in San Andreas now has an official Twitter feed and website (via Kotaku). Rockstar Games hasn't even bothered to hide the fact that this online campaign is produced by them, as the site is hosted directly on their servers, and proudly features their logo. Before you note that this could have been set up for GTA 3, just remember when Twitter was invented.
Some analysts believe GTA5 will be out before April of next year. Could the start of this marketing campaign be even more evidence of an impending launch?
