The original Max Payne is finally coming to Android devices, roughly two months after its iOS counterpart. Rockstar announced today the game will hit the Android Store for $2.99 on Thursday, June 14. Like the iOS version, it features prettied-up graphics, customizable controls, and Social Club connectivity.

Unlike the iOS version, it includes support for some USB controllers. The game is compatible with a whole host of Android devices and tablets, including:

Supported Android Phones: Motorola Razr, Razr Maxx, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Photon, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rezound, HTC One X, HTC One S, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung S2, Samsung Galaxy R, Sony Xperia Play, Sony Xperia S, Sony Walkman Z Series Media Player

Supported Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Medion Lifetab, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 / 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, Toshiba Thrive, HTC Flyer, HTC Jetstream

The Android version was originally slated for April 26, two weeks after the iOS version. Obviously, that didn't happen.

The iOS App is currently available as well, and in its two months on the market it's garnered a 4-star user rating.

I deleted the iphone version because every single time it updates it needs 2.5x it's space requirements. Really shitty

i thought it was cool when GTAIII came out but then i realized (i should have figured) that it was pretty unplayable with touch screen controls.
