For the record, here are my full E3 predictions:
Nintendo will show off a few Wii U games and people will complain that the hardware's so weak it'll flop--just as they did with the original Wii, which has now shifted over 96 million consoles.
Should new consoles be announced, the 'heart of your living room' angle will be pushed hard. Fans will bicker about which is best and which company will die forever.
Publishers will attempt to push mobile, but the gaming press will not show much interest except for games in existing franchises. Microsoft and Sony will be wearily enthusiastic about their failed mobile platforms.
There will be zombies.
Someone will declare "PC gaming is not dead," yet no one will punch them for this.
Alice will be overly cocky on Monday, extremely excited on Tuesday, weary on Wednesday, writing short fiction masquerading as video game news by Thursday, and doesn't want to talk about Friday. -
