Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 spotted on retail site

Like clockwork, Electronic Arts has been releasing Need for Speed games every year since 2002. Last year saw the release of two: The Run and Shift 2 Unleashed. So, what can we expect this year? If a retail leak is any indication, it's a "sequel" to 2005's Most Wanted.
Once again, BT Games has put up an early listing for "the latest release in the Need for Speed franchise." Although the page has been taken down, Eurogamer managed to take a screengrab. This is the same retailer that's leaked Dead Space 3, in addition to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode and the Jak & Daxter HD Collection.
While little is known about the unannounced project, Criterion Games may be involved. The studio previously worked on 2010's Hot Pursuit.
