Max Payne 3 holds contest for gravestones
Max Payne 3 is holding a GameStop sweepstakes to put fan names on the gravestones in the "Cemetery" multiplayer map.
Outside of Tom Sawyer and Ebeneezer Scrooge, most people don't get to see their own gravestone. You'll be able to get at least a virtual funeral with a contest for Max Payne 3. The game is holding a promotion with GameStop stores to let your name appear on a headstone in the "Cemetery" multiplayer map.
The promotion detailed by Rockstar is pretty simple. You can go to GameStop's Facebook page to enter the sweepstakes through March 11. Winners will be drawn, and everyone playing the map will get to see your final resting place. Rockstar also mentions that it's reserved a few of the tombstones for Social Club members, including countries outside the US, so non-US participants will still have a chance. Details on how to get in through the Social Club are forthcoming.
Max Payne 3 is set to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 15, and the PC version will follow on April 2.
