Reset: a co-op single-player first-person puzzler

You can't judge a game by its graphics, of course, but the images accompanying today's announcement of "single player co-op first person puzzle game" Reset for PC are so pretty they'll at least make you take a closer look.

You can't judge a game by its graphics, of course, but the images accompanying today's announcement of Reset are so pretty they'll at least make you take notice. The "single player co-op first person puzzle game" by two-person Finnish indie studio Theory Interactive is in development for PC. "The unique game mechanic in Reset is the ability to travel back in time to solve puzzles co-operatively, with yourself," Theory explains, which does sound a bit like The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, Cursor*10, and that sort of thing. It's built upon Theory's own tech, Praxis. These lovely images are said to be "unedited real time screenshots," though they would appear to be more in-engine posed cinematic shots. No word on a release date yet. Thanks to Shacker 'SlamDunk' for spotting this.

Shiny!

Reminds me of Prometheus mod on the Unreal engine.

I don't trust a game developer that doesn't have a website. Google search turned up nothing. You should be proud to brag about your constant progress and screenshots. Unless "no website" has become the new hipster indie trend, like saying "when it's done" was ten years ago.

I have high hopes for this game, I'm hoping this will be the first indie game I try that makes "indie" not synonymous with "hippie". There are too many pretentious hippie games where you chase falling leaves or walk around in attics and look at plush toys while some new age music plays in the background...
