Notch dubs 48-hour game 'MiniTale'
Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has given a new name to his 48-hour experiment. The newly-dubbed "MiniTale" has sites registered for it, with the promise "coming eventually."
Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson recently took part in a 48-hour game creation challenge, resulting in the overhead 2D rogue-like Minicraft. Now the game has been gotten a new name, MiniTale, and its own dedicated URLs to match.
Persson tweeted the new name, and announced that he had gained domain names for it. The sites vaguely promise "Coming Eventually." On his blog, he described the game as "a Zelda-ish top down game with crafting influences from Minecraft."
Previously, Persson had announced a sequel to the game, so MiniTale could be the name for an eventual, full release of its follow-up. If you're curious, you can try out Minicraft for free.

How about you actually cover the other developers who participates in that challenge? Or will game critics continue to swing off of Notch's ballsack. You guys have given his games more free coverage then any title known to man. There are other Indie Developers out there! They work just as hard, or harder. They make as good as or better games. They have not made their millions. I know you are not "real" journalist, but you could at least utilize journalistic skills from time to time.
