Kan Warner Bros kontinue mispelling more words for Moral Kombat re-releases? The answer seems to be "yes." Britain's BBFC recently rated the "Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition," an updated version of the latest Mortal Kombat game on PS3 and Xbox 360. While the rating doesn't offer any insight into what the package will offer, it seems pretty easy to figure out.
As with other "Game of the Year" and "Director's Cut" re-releases, we're going to guess that this is a retail re-release of Mortal Kombat, with all the DLC included.
After its release, a number of additional characters were added to the fighting game roster, including Skarlet, Rain, Kenshi, and movie villain Freddy Krueger. In addition to these characters, additional skins and fatalities were offered via DLC. Including all this content on-disc would make for a "Komplete Edition," no?
Mortal Kombat's original rating was filed in February, two months before the game's April release. If the "Komplete Edition" follows this trend, we should be able to expect it in February next year.
