You want to level up? That will be $5 per level. You "can" beat the game with a level 1 character, just not without cheating...but it also costs an additional $2 per save point. Oh, and you want to have sound effects, that's additional. Epic music? Another $15. $20 per squadmate unless you want to try and solo the game without any. Argh!

No. Was there some event in the past that showed Bioware's integrity? Also, it wasn't until they were part of EA that they didn't release the console version of a multiplatform game before the PC version (MDK2, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect vs DA:O, ME2, DA2), so it's not like they were super PC advocates until evil EA corrupted them.

well, for one thing Kasumi was offered in unlimited supply and was available for purchase after you decided whether or not you liked the game/wanted her/etc.
this character requires you to make a decision before you purchase at all, to pay a $20 premium rather than a $7 premium, and is limited by the artificial scarcity of selling it physically rather than digitally
