Metal Gear Solid 5 plans detailed in PlayStation Official Magazine
Hideo Kojima just can't quit Metal Gear. The upcoming issue of PlayStation Official Magazine UK is promising details on Metal Gear Solid 5.
Hideo Kojima just can't quit Metal Gear. The series' creator is notorious for announcing plans to leave the franchise, only to announce a new game. While the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Rising is being handled by a new team, it appears that Kojima is returning to yet another Metal Gear game.
The writing was on the wall for quite some time. Recently, Kojima Productions posted job listings hiring for the "next generation of MGS." Perhaps the most blatant clue came from E3 2010: "There will be a Hideo Kojima game that is MGS," he said.
The upcoming issue of PlayStation Official Magazine UK will feature an in-depth interview with Kojima that covers Metal Gear Solid Rising, and "his plans for Metal Gear Solid 5 and Project Ogre for the first time." The cover even promises details on the upcoming game.
"For the next game I make, it's either MGS5 or an original game. I only have these two choices," Kojima once explained. While Metal Gear fans are likely to be very excited by the prospect of yet another MGS, it's a bit disheartening to see one of the industry's most creative figures unable to branch out into something new.

No, it was to be the conclusion of Solid Snakes Story. So there can be more games but most like the will have a new protagonist. The really need to just drop the Solid to the new chapters name. #5 is just bad.
I was hoping to see Kojima return to Policenauts and Snacher to continue the Metal Gear Saga.
At the very least HD reworks of Policenauts and Snacher. -
