EA and DICE are planning to say "thanks" to Battlefield 3 fans with a contest that will randomly reward players of the game. The prizes on hand are quite significant, with the grand prize winner receiving a four day trip for four to Stockholm to visit the DICE studio and $4000 to spend during the trip.

Other prizes include a check for $5000, and an Alienware PC pre-loaded with a collection of Battlefield games.

To enter, Battlefield 3 players must simply play a multiplayer match on any platform on the weekend of November 11th through the 13th.

While the prizes are nice, and entering is easy, the odds are definitely not in your favor. Given Battlefield 3's sales, the pool of random entrants is likely to be quite significant (assuming they can get in to a match successfully). The promotion is also international, spanning the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Canada--excluding Quebec, Florida, New York, and Washington DC.
