A short new Battlefield 3 trailer shows off the impressive destructive capabilities of the Frostbite 2 engine. EA says that "Battlefield 3 does it better than anyone else," and the explosive nature of this trailer makes it hard to argue. You'll see a lot of things explode, and a lot of buildings crumble. You'll also see an earthquake, a tantalizing tease of exactly what DICE's new graphics engine can really do.

Battlefield 3 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 25.

  Why don't they ever show anything new? The game releases in 2 weeks and there is still a lot about the game that we don't know about.

    huh? did you play the beta? Had a large majority of the weapons, there are also lists of all weapons and vehicles in the game. You could also play both Rush and Conquest with 32-64 players.
    
    They also released trailers showing portions of single player gameplay. What else do you want to know two weeks from release?

        I doubt that they did. Conquest should be 64 max and Rush 32 max.

        The five game modes are:
        
        Rush (32 player limit on PC)
        Squad Rush (16 player limit on PC)
        Team DM (24 player limit on PC)
        Squad DM (16 player limit on PC)
        Conquest (64 player limit on PC)

        Oops - sorry, didn't mean to say it that way. Rush is 32 max. I just meant that the beta had 64 player servers up (but yeah, for Conquest, not Rush).
