Castlevania: Harmony of Despair PS3 releases on September 27
The downloadable Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will finally be released for PlayStation 3 on September 27.
Konami has announced that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will finally arrive in the PlayStation Store for download in four days. The game was originally released way back in July 2010 on Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), but the upcoming PlayStation 3 release will include a few extras, which are available as paid DLC add-ons for the Xbox Live version.
Whereas the original Xbox Live release only included 6-player online co-op, the PSN version of Castlevania HD will bring in an extra local 4 player co-op mode as well. As reported, DLC for the Xbox version of the game will be included as part of the PSN release, including the "Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire" Map pack, along with Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades characters.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair whips onto the PlayStation Network on September 27. Pricing hasn't yet been confirmed, but it's probably reasonable to expect a price similar to the $15 Xbox release.

I wouldn't call it terrible, but it's a not what I wanted it to be, for sure. It's ok fun for a few trips through (it's quite short), but I'd feel much better about it were it closer to the $5 range, as it gave me about as much fun as a solid iphone game. If you are a fan of the mobile titles, it's got some value, although mostly aesthetic.

I love 2D hardcore as well, this CV could of been quiet awesome the bloody time limit just kills it for me I can not enjoy it, the last thing I want to do is rush a side scroller like CV you never had to in any of the others.
You are totally right the 3D Castlevania has nothing on the classics like Bloodlines and Dracula X(still it is very good) but unless you like a time limit that is brutally tight and down right impossible to finish the lvl and boss later on you will hate the game and it will end up making you say "Why the fuck did you add the time limit?"
Oh well :(

WTF? So if I beat Dead Rising 1 a Capcom game it unlocks a time code to stop the time limit? Or do you 100% achievements?
No offense but that's freaking bull shit, this is a Konami game I have never heard of such a thing cross over unlocks.
I take it all back if you have proof, I really want it to believe its true though, but I doubt it :( -
