Forza Motorsport 4 demo due October 3

The Forza Motorsport 4 demo is slated to launch on October 3, a new trailer for Turn 10's racer has revealed.

A demo for Turn 10's brum-brum game Forza Motorsport 4 will screech onto Xbox 360 on October 3, shortly before the full game launches, a new trailer examining the Bernese Alps track has revealed.

What's in the demo? No idea, nothing has been confirmed beyond the date so far. I'd wager there'll be an automobile and somewhere to drive it, though. The full game will launch exclusively for Xbox 360 on October 11 in North America, cruising into Europe on October 14, then parking in the rest of the world October 20.

The new trailer has only been officially released through the Xbox Live Marketplace so far, but YouTube user NastyGamingHD (via Eurogamer) has handily captured it for all of those away from their Xbox:

Gran Turismo 5 is so much better than this game. I don't even know why you'd own a 360 after that game came out. Especially after you play it for like 76 hours to unlock fender damage.

Odd. I've seen this trailer before, like a couple of weeks ago at least. Maybe it's been up on the Forza site or something before.

Anyway, excited for this game! :D

I disagree with all points you've made.

The upper limit for track racing content is completely unreachable. There's always more racers want, even if limited to existing realworld tracks.
The physics need a huge upgrade (and are apparently getting one). The current tire model in Forza 3 is too sticky, to be realistic.
As for the graphics, they did find a way to upgrade them by introducing a completely new lighting model. It sounds huge.

And a more configurable virtual steering wheel that allows more control by the player. Also they revised the suspension sim and turn radius.
