Max and the Magic Marker heading to PSN
Max and the Magic Marker is coming to PlayStation Network, with updated visuals and PlayStation Move support.
The cult hit Max and the Magic Marker is moving beyond the PC and DS. Developer Press Play announced yet another destination for the puzzle platformer: PlayStation Network. Coming this fall in the US and Europe, it packs enough new features to transform it into the "Gold Edition."
The PS3 version will add 1080p visuals and comparability with the PlayStation Move controller (which only makes sense given that it's already available on the Wii). The physics-based platformer lets you draw your own solutions to obstacles and enemies, using objects like stairs and catapults.
The game was critically well-received, winning various awards and receiving a generally favorable reception on its current platforms. The game is currently available on the Wii Shop Channel, the Apple App Store, and various PC download services. A price for the "Gold Edition" has yet to be set.
