Devil May Cry HD Collection outed by ESRB
The ESRB has posted ratings for the first three Devil May Cry games for current-gen platforms.
HD collections are all the rage these days, and Capcom is no stranger, thanks to its forthcoming HD ports of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. The ESRB has outed Capcom's next, by rating the first three Devil May Cry games for current-gen platforms.
The ESRB (via CVG) rates the first three Devil May Cry games for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. These first games were PlayStation 2 exclusives in their day, so branching out could give new players their first access to the classics.
The collection has yet to be officially announced by Capcom, with the company telling Joystiq that they haven't "made any announcements." However, the non-denial makes the HD re-release all the more likely. The company recently opened up a fan art contest, promising the winners would be featured in an unannounced Capcom game. Plus, companies have been known to release retro compilations to drum up interest for an upcoming game, and Capcom has its DmC: Devil May Cry reboot in the works.
