Might & Magic Heroes VI delayed again
The next Heroes of Might & Magic game (which Might & Magic Heroes VI certainly is, despite the confusing name inversion) has been delayed into October following feedback from beta testers.
The next instalment in the Heroes of Might & Magic turn-based strategy series, Black Hole Entertainment's confusingly-named Might & Magic Heroes VI, has been delayed again. This time it's a six-week delay following feedback from beta testers, pushing the game into October.
"During the first phase of the Beta you were very active and provided us with very valuable feedback: your suggestions about general balance, factions balance and bug reports were very useful to us. Thank you!" said community developer Irina Kassina of publisher Ubisoft.
"Thus, we took the decision to delay the release of Might & Magic Heroes VI in order to secure a bit more time for the dev team to take into account your comments and deliver the best quality game."
Kassina gives October 13 as the new release date, though this is a Thursday--a European date--so we can probably expect it in North America on October 9. Might and Magic VI was originally due to launch in June but was delayed into September.
The Heroes VI beta test will start back up on August 16 with more maps and features. You can get in by pre-ordering the game.
