Batman: Arkham City welcomes Penguin, Talia
The Penguin, Talia al Ghul and Solomon Grundy have all been confirmed for Rocksteady's Bat-sequel.
The Penguin, Solomon Grundy, and Talia al Ghul have all been confirmed for Batman: Arkham City. (As if it weren't already troubled enough with Joker, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange, and Mr. Freeze swanning around!)
Talia al Ghul will be voiced by Stana Katic, who's best known for starring as Kate Beckett alongside Nathan Fillion in television murder mystery drama Castle. Daughter of the dastardly Ra's al Ghul, in the Batcomics she's often somewhere between an adversary and a love interest for old Bats, much like Catwoman--who's also in the game. Romantic tension!
As for the Penguin, it seems we're getting a decidedly English take on the squat villain; we are known for our umbrella fetishes, after all. He's strutting his stuff in the new trailer below, along with magical zombie Solomon Grundy.
Batman: Arkham City is headed to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 18, developed by Rocksteady and published by Warner Bros.
